Seven years ago Flora was kidnap and held captive for 472 days. After surviving she is back in Boston trying to Build a normal life. As the story unfoldes you start to wonder is she a victim or a vigilante?
This is all I will say for a synopsis because I want to keep this spoiler free and trust me you want to go into this book knowing just a little bite.
What an amazing and thrilling read. To say I enjoyed Find Her by Lisa Gardner is an understatement. This was a well written crime fiction novel that grips you from the very first page. What makes this novel so good is Flora and DD, our two main character. These women are both strong and complex. From the moment you start reading you experience so much. The story dives into the human mind and what we are capable of doing in order to survive. We see Flora broken down and struggling to find her way back to herself. Gardner did a great job with the pacing and the layering of this story. This is a fast pace, at the edge of your seat, gripping tale. There where moments I was anxious and I had to stop reading because I was so emotionally disturbed by what Flora went through. There is nothing pretty or cookie cutter perfect about this story. It’s raw, emotional, and gritty. It will leave you thinking and wondering long after you finish reading.
